Mark Hellman has been a driving force in the entertainment industry since his debut as a musician and singer in upstate New York in the late 1960s. After two years of college, he relocated to San Francisco, where he attended the San Francisco Academy of Art while continuing his music career. Recognized by the *San Francisco Chronicle* as the best unsigned bass player in Northern California, Mark’s group “Hellman & Groves” received high praise from the *San Francisco Examiner* as “a fabulous first-rate, all-purpose, undated vocal ensemble.”

In 1980, Mark transitioned from performing to talent representation, starting as an agent at High Top Productions before becoming a partner at Stage Productions Inc. in Washington, DC. In 1986, he launched his own companies, Group H Entertainment and Group H Nashville. Under his leadership, Group H achieved notable success in the college entertainment market, earning “Campus Agency of the Year” four times and guiding artists to win over 20 national awards, including Campus Entertainer of the Year and honors in comedy, theater, and country music categories.

Mark also played a pivotal role in popularizing the Tribute Show phenomenon, elevating tribute artists to respected positions in the national concert scene and even on Broadway. Today, Mark and Group H represent an elite roster of performers and provide middle-agent services to secure major touring acts for corporate events, private parties, conferences, and festivals. His extensive client list includes iconic acts such as REO Speedwagon, The Beach Boys, The Doobie Brothers, KC and the Sunshine Band, Jefferson Starship, and many others. Through decades of dedication, Mark Hellman has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry, shaping both the careers of his artists and the events that showcase their talent.
